Despite the title of this post, I’d like to start with a caveat that I’m not under any illusions that I’ll be receiving any of these items on my birthday. I’m very aware of my expensive taste and as such this wish list serves, if anything, as an aspirational list for myself. Things I want, and probably will buy (over time!) but certainly don’t need or expect to receive from anyone else on my birthday.

With the disclosure now over and done with, I can carry on with the post. As you can see my taste is quite mixed, none of these things is necessary but is nice to have. 

The ASOS face and body advent calendar are filled with quality products for a good value of money priced at £55. The box showcases some top premium brands such as MAC, Caudalie, Clinique and Bobbi Brown to name a few. There is a great ratio of cosmetic to skincare products.



As soon as this box was posted on their website it is immediately sold out so make sure you get yours asap! I bought mine for £39 using my £5 A-List voucher and my student discount which got me £11 off.



I was really disappointed with this years box in terms of design. It is quite basic compared to last years pink and grey marble design in a book shaped box. My personal reasoning behind this design is to have an uncomplicated drawer style recyclable box (because taking care of the environment is super cool).

There are 24 stylish skincare and beauty products packed into this years box which the designed based on their packages the iconic black and white style. There was also nothing for the 25th day?! Last year ASOS decided to award people with 20% off their products.
